Draft Bylaw on Use of Underground Spatial Keeps Being Finalized

City Council (DPRD) is still finalizing the draft bylaw on the use of underground spatial in the capital. 

This draft bylaw already exists in Prolegda

The draft bylaw is deemed important as the legal basis for carrying out development in the underground spatial.

City DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi disclosed the draft bylaw proposed in the regional legislation program (Prolegda) will be useful in the project of the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT).

2019, MRT Second Phase Construction Started

"This draft bylaw already exists in Prolegda. We'll make the bylaw. Because, all this time, there has been no draft bylaw that regulates the use of underground spatial," he stated, Thursday (3/30).

Based on the research, he assessed, there are lots of underground potential that can be used. 

"We could have solution to resolve transportation issues," he disclosed.
