Cipayung Already Has 127 Posyandu

Cipayung Sub-district, East Jakarta already has 127 integrated health services posts (posyandu). Those that spread at 53 RWs have function to monitor the children's health and nutrition.

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Iin Mutmainah disclosed the growth of all children in Cipayung would be monitored, including its health.

"There are 127 posyandu in Cipayung routinely monitoring the children's health and nutrition. If there is found imbalance, we will coordinate with puskesmas for special handling," he stated, Friday (3/31).

According to him, it can be seen from a book titled the Card Toward Health (KMS). It is because the medical officers in posyandu are always checking health, weighing and measuring body weight of the children.

In each posyandu, doctors will also give counseling to the public, especially mothers who check up their babies. Not only that, the routine immunization is also imposed.
