Pilot TPU in Bambu Apus will Accommodate 9,000 Tomb Plots

Surely it's very helpful to minimize the density of the cemetery

The pilot public cemetery (TPU), which will be built on Jalan Bambu Wulung, Bambu Apus, Cipayung, East Jakarta is predictably able to accommodate 9,000 new tomb plots. It will be built this year through Jakarta Forestry Dept.

Jakarta Forestry Dept.'s Cemetery Division Head, Siti Hasni said the TPU will be built on a 4.9-hectare land, and it is hoped able to minimize the density of the old Bambu Apus TPU.

"If this pilot cemetery is built, it will accommodate 9,000 tomb plots. Surely it's very helpful to minimize the density of the cemetery," she stated, Tuesday (4/4).

If the surrounding lands, which used as pilot cemetery, are acquired, she assessed, her side will be ready to conduct it.
