Ex-Pulogadung Terminal will Be Transformed Into Type B

The ex-Pulogadung Terminal, East Jakarta will be transformed from type A into type B. It is compliance with Transportation Ministry Regulation No. 132/2015 on Implementation of Public Transport Terminal Passengers.

AKAP was previously operated at this terminal before, and now only intercity and interprovincial public transport

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Vice Head, Sigit Wijatmoko disclosed type B terminal bus is a regional terminal that serves the inter-provincial and rural public transport.

Pulogadung Terminal Renovation Waiting for Assessment

As for type A terminal, is a main terminal that serves public transport, either it is national or international. They are like Inter city-Inter provincial (AKAP) bus, cross-border public transport, intercity and inter-provincial (AKDP), city public transport and rural public transport.

"AKAP was previously operated at this terminal before, and now only intercity and inter-provincial public transport," he stated, Tuesday (4/4).

He added the Greater Jakarta Transportation Agency (BPTJ) will develop service in such terminal by imposing Transit Oriented Development (TOD).
