Archivist and Librarian in Jakarta will Be Added

City Archive and Library Dept. (Dispusip) will add amount of archivist and librarian in City considering the number of archivists and librarians still less than ideal for managing local government's libraries.
Number of archivists in Jakarta are just 58 people. While for librarians are 19 people
"Number of archivists in Jakarta are just 58 people. While for librarians are 19 people. The amount is still very limited," said Tinia Budiati, Head of City Archive and Library Dept. at City Council Building, Tuesday (4/4).
She said, in accordance to calculation of three years ago, the ideal numbers of archivist are 700 people and for librarian are 300 people. The addition is aimed to maximize City's archives and libraries.
City Dispusip Cooperating With ANRI"We have a commitment for promoting library. Thus we have to add more personnel. So we also discussed its draft regulation (raperda)," she closed.
