West Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. has noted that 1,362 thousands trees have been pruned from eight sub-districts along January-March 2017.
Tree pruning is done in Cengkareng, Kalideres and Taman Sari,
According to M Aris Firmansyah, Head of West Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept., those trees are pruned after getting report from local residents.
"Of 1,362 trees, 806 out of them are pruned with mild level, 424 trees are pruned with medium level and 132 trees are pruned with heavy level," he stated, Thursday (4/6).
1,921 Trees in South Jakarta PrunedHe assessed most trees are overgrown, as well as blocking traffic light and streetlight. Thus it is endangering the passing motorists.
"Tree pruning is done in Cengkareng, Kalideres and Taman Sari," he closed.
