1,253 Trees in East Jakarta Pruned to Prevent Falling

Since January until March, East Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. pruned 1,253 trees spread in 10 sub-districts. Pruning was done to prevent tree from falling.

East Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. Forestry Section Head, Herbert Nainggolan said pruning will be done gradually every day. Especially for overgrown trees on protocol road.
"We prune every overgrown trees. We sweep all areas every day. Then citizen reports for trees pruning through Qlue application also have been follow up," he said, Monday (3/27).
Trees Along Jl. Iskandar Muda PrunedHe explained that from 1,253 pruned trees, 1,112 trees are the result of sweeping in 10 sub-district areas. While 141 trees are from citizen reports through Qlue application.
He urges citizen to report if they found any overgrown trees for pruning. This including for either government or private offices may also request to prune trees in their areas.
