City Council (DPRD) is supporting the planned closure of railway crossings at some spots in the capital.
If it is closed every 5-10 minutes, it will lead to traffic jam

City DPRD Vice Chairman, Triwisaksana admitted he has been encouraging the railway crossings to be closed down in an attempt to minimize traffic accident and parse traffic jam.
Acting Governor Supports Closure of Railway Crossings"If it is closed every 5-10 minutes, it will lead to traffic jam. So I think it must be closed down permanently," he stated, at City DPRD building, Thursday (4/6).
He also encouraged the City Provincial Government to develop a flyover and an underpass at each crossing. By so, it is no longer intersect with the train.
