Library Administrators in RPTRA and Flat Get Training

Jakarta Archive and Library Dept. holds library monitoring and training in 36 Children-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s and four flats. These activities will be held on April 4-28, 2017.

This is a follow-up activity from training in 2016, in order to give basic training to manage public library

Jakarta Archive and Library Dept.'s Reading Enthusiasm Civilizing and Library Development Field Head, Hari Wibowo said, monitoring and training will be held in order to improve administrators skills in each library.

Technically, they will be given circulation material, classification, and method to keep book's condition still proper.

"This is a follow-up activity from training in 2016, in order to give basic training to manage public library," he said, Friday (4/7).

He explained the four flats library are in Pesakih Flat, West Jatinegara, Marunda, and Tanah Tinggi. While 34 RPTRAs are including Sungai Bambu RPTRA, Amir Hamzah, Amiterdam, Tanjung Elang Berseri, and Dahlia.

Besides, library management basic training also will be done in 123 RPTRAs this year. According to plan, activities will be held in the end of April and in the beginning of May.

"Basic training is more theoretical. We will gather them in one location for material briefing," he closed.
