Tourism Dept. will More Intensively Promote Historical Tourist Sites

City Council (DPRD) asks Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. to intensively promote the historical tourist sites in order to attract more tourists to Jakarta.

We can spread tourism brochures and leaflets to hotels as a guide for tourists visiting Jakarta

City DPRD Commission B Member, Ida Mahmudah disclosed tourism promotion could be done by spreading brochures and leaflets about recreational sites to hotels.

SKPD and BUMD Must Synergize to Develop Tourism Sector

"We can spread tourism brochures and leaflets to hotels as a guide for tourists visiting Jakarta," she stated.

Despite it is digital era, promotion through brochure and leaflet must still be conducted.

"This should be a serious concern. Since last year the council wanted it to be realized," he expressed.

Similar statement also comes from City DPRD Commission B Member, Syarifuddin. 

"Brochure and leaflet can be spread to hotels and airports, as well as through Transjakarta bus. It's effective to attract tourists," he stated.

Responding on this matter, Jakarta Tourism and Culture Dept. Head Catur Laswanto uttered will inject fund for realizing such plan this year.

"Considering it is one of programs to attract more tourists in our city," he closed.
