Jakarta Provincial Government will accelerate Air Quality Improvement Program Realization in accordance to Governor Regulation (Pergub) No. 131/2012 about greenhouse gas emission reduction local plan.

Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji said, environment problems, especially air pollution still become City's problem. Thus his side is always strive to repair air quality.
"We will check all City Government's operational vehicles emission test. With that, operational vehicle's emission could be controlled to not surpass the limit," he said, Monday (4/10).
Jakarta Environment Dept. Received Air Quality RecommendationNext, he will also urges fuel oil (BBM) to be converted to fuel gas (BBG) for SKPD Dept.'s vehicle. In the early step, Environment Dept. will install BBG converter to 1,200 City's dump trucks and procurement of new BBG trucks.
To observe air quality, his side will add six locations to be placed by air quality monitoring stations (SKPU). Recently, City already has five SKPUs, which are in Bundaran HI, Kelapa Gading, Jagakarsa, Lubang Buaya, and Kebon Jeruk.
