A venue for sailing fleet racing sport in Mutiara Beach, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, which will be used on 2018 Asian Games is targeted will be developed next month.
City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed the venue would use a 1.2-hectare land. As a matter of fact, Jakarta Provincial Government is willing to assist in expediting the permit required.

Besides asking Jakarta Investment Dept. and PTSP regarding permit processing, the city will intensify coordination with Directorate General of Sea Transportation Ministry.
He explains the concept and design of the venue is from Porlasi. As for its development, Public Works and Public Housing Ministry will cover it by spending more than Rp 20 billion.
"We hope permit processing could be completed in one month. This venue will be made to international standards," he explained.
Saefullah added it could also be used for paddle and jet ski sports.
"Possibly, it can also be used as a tourist destination," he stated.
