City Promotes Tourism in Majapahit Travel Fair 2017

Jakarta Culture and Tourism Dept. participated in Majapahit Travel Fair 2017 (MTF) which held at Grand City Surabaya, East Java, from April 12-17, 2017.
We will optimize MTF to promote Jakarta as main destination city in Indonesia
In this event, Jakarta Provincial Government displays featured tourist destination such as shopping center, culinary, and Seribu Islands ecotourism.
Jakarta Culture and Tourism Dept. (Disparbud) Head, Catur Laswanto said, besides tourism potential, Enjoy Jakarta booth also displays infrastructure developments such as construction of MRT, LRT, RPTRA, expansion road for pedestrian which safe and comfort, and development of facilities and infrastructures that support tourists activities.

He explained that tourism is a multi-sector activity which potential to be a source of foreign exchange. Therefore, City Government attempts to attract as many tourists, both local and foreign.
Jakarta Disparbud's Marketing and Destination Division Head, Linda Enriany added, in this chance, City Government also introduces new destination, Jakarta Aquarium, which is an Urban Escapism concept vehicle. In addition, Jakarta special tourism package also has been prepared by Wisata Tour & Travel company which located in Jakarta.
