Improvement on Jl. Otista Intersection will Be Finished Next Week

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. is ready to improve Jl. Otto Iskandar Dinata (Otista), East Jakarta by applying concrete layer. Particularly for three roadworks in three intersections are targeted to be finished next week. 

We already repaired Jl. Otista since last month

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept.'s Bridge and Road Development Division Head, Yudi Febriyadi said, three intersections that will be improved are Otista 3, Cipinang Cempedak (Polonia), and Cawang Baru intersection.

"We already repaired Jl. Otista since last month. For another three intersections, we hope could be finished next week," he expressed, Wednesday (4/19).

Flyover and Underpass Project Has Touched Construction Stage

He explained in each intersection which will be concreted have wide for about 1,500 square meters. In order not to interfere the traffic, roadwork is done at night by using speed create technology and finished in the morning.

He said the concretisation is run because roads are in badly damaged condition due to inundation which often occurs. Thus road repair is also considering geometric aspects in order to minimize potential for flooding.

"For the whole road, from Kampung Melayu to Cawang Kompor's traffic light will be completed lately in October," he closed.
