West Gorontalo Legislative Council (DPRD) held a comparative study on Seribu Islands' natural beauty and tourism potential.

In that time, those looked at and studied a number of tourism objects, cultural heritages, resort islands and settlements. 

"We want to learn the governance of tourism, particularly the island and beach. Because our city is similar to Seribu Islands," expressed Harto Husain, Vice Chairman of Island and Beach Special Committee (Pansus), West Gorontalo DPRD Commission IIII, Friday (4/21).

After accompanying them, Seribu Islands Vice Regent, Ismer Harahap said that he thanked them, for his territory was used as the object of comparative study.

"Indeed Seribu Islands tourism is managed and developed from City Budget (APBD), including its promotion. But the entrepreneurs are purely from local people," he closed.
