Gate Parking System will Be Applied in Kalijodo RPTRA Next Week

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) will apply gate parking system in Kalijodo Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Penjaringan, North Jakarta. According to plan, that system will be applied next week.

We also coordinate with toll management in order to use under the toll area to be a parking space for visitors

Jakarta Dishub Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko said, gate installation will replace the old parking system which using electronic parking fee (TPE). This system is considered ineffective because of prone for illegal parking attendant (jukir) to be appeared.

"This week we will install the gate. Since the area is RPTRA, which is green area and has park, parking space is low. We urge visitors to use public transportation," he said on Tuesday (4/25).

Park and Ride on Jalan MH Thamrin Operated

The gate system is also stated not to hinder inspection road users which connects Tubagus Angke Road and Bandengan Utara roads. To differentiate between passer-by and visitors, for vehicle that parking more than 15 minutes will be charged according to the rules.

"We also coordinate with toll management in order to use under the toll area to be a parking space for visitors," he closed.
