City Cooperates with Polda to Overcome Violence Against Women and Children

Jakarta Provincial Government and Polda Metro Jaya have signed cooperation related with prevention and handling about violence case against women and children in the capital.

This cooperation will be better

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama disclosed his party has been trying to suppress the case by multiplying the existence of RPTRA.

"This cooperation will be better," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (4/27).

Basuki said RPTRA project itself is executed to realize Jakarta becomes a child-friendly city.

"RPTRA has an obligation to make a child-friendly city. We want to optimize PKK, and then join in family planning village (kampung KB)," he expressed.

Every year, it is targeted able to build 200 RPTRAs in each RW.

In the meantime, Jakarta Child Protection and Population Control Dept. Head, Dien Emawati explains cooperation between the city with Polda Metro Jaya is to synergize strategic issues, especially in terms of handling violence against women and children, as well as flat tower empowerment.

"These issues will be outlined and be synergized with other interrelated programs, like RPTRA," she closed.
