City will Cooperate With Shanghai

Jakarta Provincial Government will cooperate with Shanghai City Government in library, culture, and tourism fields.

We are still studying it. Cooperation in library archives and tourism fields are possible to be explored

According to Jakarta Regional Head and Foreign Cooperation Bureau (KDH and KLN) Head, Muhammad Mawardi, agreement signing with Shanghai which is one of the Republic of China's cities, will be scheduled for this year.

City to Cooperate with Warsawa

"We are still studying it. Cooperation in library archives and tourism fields are possible to be explored," he confirmed, Sunday (4/30).

He explained that actually the idea to cooperate came up when Shanghai delegation visited Jakarta some time ago. They want an exchange of knowledge between Jakarta and Shanghai in archives and libraries.

"At first, they want Jakarta to gain some knowledge about Shanghai. We also hope Shanghai gain some knowledge about Jakarta," he said.

To follow up the collaboration, he added that Shanghai City Government will send books to add book collections in Jakarta.

"They will send books to us. The shipment cost will be charged to them," he closed.
