25 Medical Officers Alerted to Support Jakarta Hajj Pilgrims

25 medical officers consisting of 13 doctors and 12 nurses will be alerted to support 7,891 Jakarta people who attempted to travel to Saudi Arabia for the hajj pilgrimage this year. These officers are part of 50 counterparts prepared by the provincial government.

There will be 50 officers departed this year

"From 50 officers departed, 25 out of them are medical officers and the rest are religious leaders, locally known as alim ulama," expressed Tatang, Sub-Division Head of Bureau Spiritual Mental, Thursday (5/4).

Jakarta Hajj Quota This Year Set at 7,891 People

Those 50 officers are the result of a selection of 130 participants who signed up earlier. The screening process of officers accompanying the pilgrims is held from early February to March.

"There will be 50 officers departed this year," he stated.
