West Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept. is about to add more three public reading parks at some points in West Jakarta. The reading park is a proposal of the people's aspirations in the Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang).
Every six months, the book will be exchanged for a new title
Siti Sarah, Division Head of Library for West Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-dept. disclosed her side has surveyed three points in Meruya Selatan Urban Village, Pekojan Urban Village and Jembatan Besi Urban Village.
"In West Jakarta, there have been 34 reading parks that spread over eight sub-districts. Then reading park at three points will be realized in early June," she stated, Tuesday (5/9).
Pari Island Resident Initiated a Reading ParkHe added, each reading park would get 300 books, bookcases, reading tables and carpets.
