Early May, This Year's APBD Reached 12 Percent

Jakarta Provincial Government has successfully absorbed 12 percent of this year's City Budget (APBD) until this May. 

To realize it, I want all regional working units (SKPD) to improve performance

Acting Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed it is lower than the same period last year, which reached 14 percent. Nevertheless, he is optimistic it could hit 86 percent by the end of this year.

"To realize it, I want all regional working units (SKPD) to improve performance," he disclosed, Tuesday (5/16).

Fund Absorption For Government Sector must Be More Maximized

According to him, they must be discipline in inputting direct and indirect goods that have been paid in order to maximize budget absorption. 

"If there is direct payment, just input it to increase the nominal. I believe we can touch 86 percent," he stated.

As for the information, this year's budget is set at Rp 70.19 trillion.
