City Ensures Food Stock Readiness During Ramadan

Jakarta Provincial Government ensures food stock and food supply readiness in order to maintain price stability in market during Ramadan and towards Eid 1438 H.

City Government through SKPD and BUMD preparing stock, controlling food supply, and maintain price stability

Jakarta Secretary's Economy Bureau Head, Sri Haryati said, sufficient stock makes price in market to be in controlled. 

"City Government through SKPD and BUMD are preparing stock, controlling food supply, and maintaining price stability," he said, Wednesday (5/17).

City will Expand Food Price Information

She also said that PT. Food Tjipinang Jaya has already prepared rice stock as many as 38,400 tons and reserved stock around 15-25 thousand tons ahead of Ramadan. Then, stock of one-kilogram packed sugar is prepared around 600-1,000 tons as well as 1 million liters of cooking oil.

Meanwhile, PD. Dharma Jaya prepared meat stock is 500 tons with reserve stock 250 tons.

This food stock will be added with supply from Jakarta Bulog which provides rice as many as 94 thousand tons, 148 thousand tons of sugar, 290 tons beef, 37,432 tons buffalo meat, 34,800 liters cooking oil, 62.8 tons garlic, 8 tons shallots, and 1 ton chicken eggs.
