Suicide Bomb at Kampung Melayu Terminal, Two Killed

A suicide bomb blast was occurred in Kampung Melayu Terminal, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, at around 9 PM, Wednesday (5/24). At least two people have been killed and four others suffered severe injuries in the attack.

We are very concerned about this incident

Based on the information gathered, bomb explosion occurs twice near a Transjakarta bus stop at Kampung Melayu Terminal. Even, a number of glasses at the stop broke loose. And some motorcycle taxi drivers also have seen falling.

Bomb Terror at City Hall is Fake

National Police Deputy Chief Comr. Gen. Syafruddin said that it was allegedly a suicide bombing. From two died victims, one was identified as a member of police, Sec. Brig. Topan who at the moment was on guard to secure the parade march.

And another one was the suspected suicide bomber. "We are very concerned about this incident," he stated, Wednesday (5/24) night.

As for the injured victims are identified as Brig. Feri, Brig. Yogi, Agung (17) (a Transjakarta driver) and Jihan (19) (a college student).

Due to this incident, traffic from Jalan Otista Raya had to be diverted. In details, from Cawang towards Matraman, diverted to Jalan KH Abdullah Syafii or Tebet. Yet the vehicles coming from the reverse direction is still reportedly normal. Until 11.15 PM, Gegana (bomb squad) team was still investigating the scene.
