Kampung Melayu Terminal Re-operated Normally

Terminal has been reopened since yesterday evening. And this morning it has been operated normally

Kampung Melayu Terminal, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, finally reopened. That means, all public transport vehicles can enter the terminal as usual.

Kampung Melayu Terminal Head, Rusbandi said terminal has been reopened since Thursday (5/25) evening.

After ceremony this morning, tens of officers immediately go to manage traffic flow in terminal area, either inside or outside terminal.

"Terminal has been reopened since yesterday evening. And this morning it has been operated normally," he expressed, Friday (5/26).

To manage traffic around terminal, 18 joint officers are alerted in the field. Those consist of terminal elements (5 officers), Transportation Dept.'s BKO Dalops (three officers), East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (two officers), East Jakarta Resort Police's Community Development (Binmas) (three officers) and Traffic Police (five officers).

Meanwhile, the police line that put up at Transjakarta bus stop has also been removed.

Likewise with Kampung Melayu Flyover, it has been reopened. So, vehicles can already pass on the flyover, either from Prumpung towards Tebet or vice versa.
