Illegal Parking, Dozens of Vehicles in North Jakarta Controlled

As many as 32 joint personnel from North Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, police, and army held a raid against illegal parking on Jalan Nias, Jalan Artha Gading, and Jalan Pegangsaan II, precisely in front of Yakobus School, Wednesday (6/11). As a result, 50 tire valves of private cars deflated, 15 public transports ticketed, and 2 other vehicles grounded by the officers.

Head of Supervision and Control Section for North Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Hengki Sitourus, stated that the raid was held over the locals’ reports.

“ Besides the locals’ reports, we also do this raid because this is our duty ,” he asserted.
