Kampung Melayu Transjakarta Bus Stop Targeted to Operate Tomorrow

Acting Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat revealed, Transjakarta bus stop in Kampung Melayu Terminal, Jatinegara, East Jakarta can be operated on Sunday (5/29) tomorrow. The bus stop must be ready to operate after the bombing incident a few days ago.

"Tomorrow morning, we'll involve Fire Handling and Rescue Dept., Health Dept., PPSU and so on to re-arrange the bus stop. Thus we could operate the bus stop in the afternoon," disclosed Djarot, when he reviewed Kampung Melayu Terminal, Sunday (5/28).

According to him, in the next two weeks, the bus stop will be renovated. Thus, it would be clean completely when Eid ul Fitr comes. 

"The bus stop will be re-painted," he stated.

As known, Kampung Melayu Transjakarta bus stop is deemed very strategic, because serve four corridors. They are Kampung Melayu-Ancol, Kampung Melayu-Cililitan, Kampung Melayu-Pinang Ranti and Kampung Melayu-Pulogebang. Every day, there are 60,000 passengers use the bus stop.
