Jelawe Channel on Jalan Percetakan II Dredged

40 freelancers of South Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. assisted by Kramat Pela PPSU are dredging the Jelawe water channel on Jalan Percetakan II, RW 04, South Jakarta.

The channel is already shallow

"The channel is already shallow, so we dredge it in order to anticipate inundation when it rains. We send 40 freelancers plus PPSU to the field," stated Dennie, Head of Kramat Pela Urban Village, Monday (6/5).

In the meantime, Berliana, Section Head of Economic and Environment Development for Kramat Pela Urban Village disclosed, mud that has been dredged will be used as a dike in the channel.

Anggrek Channel Has Been Dredged Up to 75 Percent

"Channel is dredged up to 30-40 centimeters depth with 75 meters length and 2 meters width," he closed.
