Tens of officers under East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. have been deployed to clean up and check a water channel in the underpass of Jl. MT Haryono from Pancoran towards Cawang. 

After our officer checked the channel, we found building debris inside

According to Yose Rijal, Acting Head of East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., it is conducted to minimize inundation. Allegedly, inundation is due to building debris in the channel. 

"After our officer checked the channel, we found building debris inside," he told, Monday (6/5).

To anticipate inundation, some officers have been sent to monitor the channel around underpass project site.

"We try to solve this problem soon. It will finish at least two days," he closed.
