Jakartans, Report First to Local RT/RW Before Taking Eid Homecoming

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Bayu Meghantara urges residents who want to take Eid homecoming are obligated to make a report to local RT/RW apparatuses.

Those who want to take Eid homecoming must report to RT/RW and inform it to the neighbors

"Those who want to take Eid homecoming must report to RT/RW and inform it to the neighbors. It's important to help supervise the empty house when the owner leaves ," he said, Tuesday (6/6).

According to him, the urban village and sub-district apparatuses cannot work alone, but need support from various circles. Hence, socialization about the empty house security to the residents must be intensive.

Additional Terminals Ensured to Be Operated Temporarily

"The number of residents in each urban village can reach 200,000 people. The RT/RW role is to support urban village, where they will help coordinate the safety of the environment," he uttered.

Aside that, joint patrol along with three pillars and locals must be intensive. Satpol PP will also be optimized through picket system.

"It will be coordinated again later, as it is part of improving service to the residents," he closed.
