Angke Hulu Water Gate Status Raise to Alert II

Heavy rain poured the capital city (6/12) last night has made the water level in Angke Hulu and Krukut Hulu water gate increased.

The water level is monitored continuously

City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) officer, Desmanto, stated that the Angke Hulu water level has reached 255 cm or alert II, while Krukut Hulu water level has reached 150 cm or alert III status.

“The water level is monitored continuously,” said Desmanto, Friday (6/13). The water level was monitored at 6 AM this morning.

A number of regions are predicted to be affected by flood due to this increasing water level. Those areas are Duri Kosambi Urban Village, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, Green Garden, Kedoya Utara Urban Village, and Cengkareng Urban Village. “The residents in these areas are asked to be careful and watchful,” he added.

Desmanto said that other water gates are in normal condition or in alert IV status, such as Katulampa 10 cm, Depok 105 cm, Manggarai 730 cm, Karet 440 cm, Pesanggrahan 115 cm, Cipinang Hulu 100 cm, Sunter Hulu 90 cm, Pulo Gadung 370 cm, Waduk Pluit -140 cm, and Pasar Ikan 132 cm.

Meanwhile Desmanto said that the last night heavy rain has left inundation in a number of areas such as on Jalan Pertanian Lebak Bulus as high as 10-50 cm, Jalan Bintaro in front of mosque as high as 10-30 cm, Jalan Cirendeu as high as 10-20 cm, Jalan Veteran near Veteran Toll as high as 10-20 cm, Jalan Raya Joglo as high as 10 cm, in front of PO Kramatjati Gaplek Pool as high as 20 cm, Jalan Arteri Pondok Indah from Permata Hijau as high as 40 cm, in front of Blue Bird Pool Tanah Kusir as high as 10–30 cm.

Not only that, four trees fell due to the heavy rain on Jalan Taman Lebak Bulus intersection, on Jalan Adhyaksa from Cirendeu direction, on Jalan H Saba, Joglo, West Jakarta, exactly near Meruya Selatan Urban Village, on Jalan Arteri Pondok Indah, and in front of RSIA Yadika, Kebayoran Lama.
