January-May, 4,828 Trees in S. Jakarta Pruned

During January-May period, South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. already pruned 4,828 trees. Pruning was focused on bushy trees and trees that block street lighting (PJU) or traffic light.

Half of it came from citizen requests. Their request was quite high

South Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept. Head, Christian Tamora said, 1,360 trees were light pruning, 1,938 were medium pruning, and 1,530 were heavy pruning.

"Half of it came from citizen requests. Their request was quite high," he expressed, Tuesday (6/13).

Angsana Trees Along Jalan Melur III Pruned

His side also prepared six PHLs in each sub-district to optimize the service. They are equipped with cutting tools and operational car.

"Thus if citizen asked for pruning or there are any fell down trees, we could respond it fast," he closed.
