Sedimentation occurred at Situ Lembang Park Reservoir, Menteng Urban Village, Menteng Sub-district, Central Jakarta. Because of this, fishes in the reservoir were dead.

Central Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. Head, Bayu Sari Hastuti said sedimentation caused the contents of ammonia, phosphate, and iron to exceed the limit. 

"Fish were lack of oxygen thus many tilapia fish dead," she said, Wednesday (6/14).

She added, water content examination result noted that ammonia content should be 0 mg/liter but the result is higher up to 0.5 mg/liter. Phosphate is also 0.25 mg/liter, where it should be 0.2 mg/liter. While iron content is 0.1 mg/liter where it should be 0 mg/liter.

"We hope this reservoir could be dredged because the mud sedimentation is thick enough," he closed.
