After Eid ul-Fitr, Second Closure Trial For Railway Crossings Started

The second phase of closure trial against railway crossings is scheduled to be started after Eid ul-Fitr. The process will take one month.

City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed his party along with Transportation Ministry plans to conduct trial first. The result will be evaluated further.

City Still Steeped in Second-phase Railway Crossings Closure

"The second trial will be executed after Eid ul-Fitr and will take one month," he expressed, at City Hall, Wednesday (6/14).

He furthered trial results would be evaluated. If it is not good, it will be stopped and look for other solutions.

"If it doesn't work well, railway crossing will be reopened," he stated.

As known, the second closure trial at six railway crossings will be closed down. Those are located at Jalan Angkasa, Jalan Hasyim Ashari, Karet Bivak-Penjompongan, Bandengan, and Jalan Letjen Suprapto-Senen.

While the first closure trial that has been done are at Jalan TB Simatupang, Pondok Kopi-Penggilingan, Pejompongan 1, Jalan Pasar Minggu and Jalan Letjen Suprapto-Senen.
