222 AKAP Buses Carried Out Roadworthy Test at Pulogebang Terminal

222 Intercity Interprovincial (AKAP) buses have run roadworthy test at Pulogebang Terminal, East Jakarta. Just 35 buses that considered passed the test.

Ujung Menteng Vehicle Testing Management Unit (PKB) Head, Dedy Dwi Basuki said, it was the result from May 8 until June 14 at Pulogebang Integrated Terminal.
"Vehicle examination is run in Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, especially for vehicle used to transport homecoming passengers," he said, Wednesday (6/14).
Buses Used as Eid Transportation will Be Under SupervisionAccording to him, vehicle examination also will be conducted at additional terminals such as Pinang Ranti Terminal. It will be started from D-7 which on Sunday (7/18) until D+15 of Eid.
Meanwhile, Ujung Menteng PKB Administration Head, Andi Jayaprana added, his side will attach a sticker for vehicle that passed roadworthy test. Sticker which from Transportation Ministry is to show the vehicle is already tested and proper to transport the passengers.
"Vehicles that already passed roadworthy test will be attached a sticker. While failed vehicles will be sent to terminal to be controlled, such as ticketed, operation stopped, or another sanctions," he expressed.
There are nine items to check in this test. There are vulcanized tires, windshield and window condition, brakes, wiper blades, lamps, glass-breaking hammer availability, driver seat belt, first-aid box, and vehicle documents completeness.
