Jakarta International 10K Targets 15,000 Participants

The Milo Jakarta International 10K will be held to enliven city's 490th anniversary. The event that will fall on July 23, 2017, seeks to attract 15,000 participants.
The event can be done because of support from various elements
Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept. Head Ratiyono said, to smoothen it, his dept. will involve a number of regional working units (SKPD) and private parties.

He explained, routes that will be passed by the runners are from Jalan Epicentrum-Jalan HR Rasuna Said-Jalan HOS Cokrominoto-Jalan Latuharhari-Jalan Dr Kusuma Atmaja and then return to Jalan HOS Cokrominoto-Jalan HR Rasuna Said-Jalan Epicentrum.
"The route is still the same like last year," he stated.
Later on, there are two new categories, namely 5K and family run 1.7K. As for international runners, there will be only 150 runners. So far, some runners will also participate in the event, namely Malaysia, Singapore and Kenya.
