Djarot Inaugurated As Jakarta Governor

Indonesian Presidents, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, officially inaugurated Djarot Saiful Hidayat as Jakarta Governor with the rest term period 2012-2017. Inauguration itself was held in Presidential Palace, Jl. Medan Merdeka Utara, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Message from Mr. President, you have to work fast, as you only served for a while,

Inauguration itself was initiated by the reading of Presidential Decree (Kepres) No. 76/2017 on Inauguration of Definitive Governor. And it was continued with oath of office and signing of inauguration dossier.

It was attended by a few officials, namely Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla, the Fifth President Megawati Soekarno Putri, Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi, City Secretary Saefullah and several Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairmen plus SKPD leaders.

Djarot Requested Homecomers Not Inviting Relatives to Jakarta

Afterwards, Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat expressed his gratitude and asked for support from the central government for the success of development in the capital.

"Thank you, I beg the blessing of the central government to be able to synergize," he expressed, Thursday (6/15).

He promised that he would work optimally as the mandate delivered by Indonesian President, Joko Widodo.

"Message from Mr. President, you have to work fast, as you only served for a while," he finished.
