Tomorrow, Kebon Singkong Klender Railway Crossing Closed

Kebon Singkong railway crossing, precisely on the west side of Klender Station, East Jakarta, will be closed starting on Friday (7/7).

Starting tomorrow (Friday) we will conduct trials by closing railway crossing in Kebon Singkong, Klender

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Traffic Section Head, Andreas Eman said, his side has socialized the plan by put a banner near railway crossing ahead of the closing date.

"Starting tomorrow (Friday) we will conduct trials by closing railway crossing in Kebon Singkong, Klender. It is final and has been discussed at meeting in Transportation Ministry yesterday," he said, Thursday (7/6).

Railway Crossing on Jalan Kembang Pacar must Be Closed Down

This trials will be evaluated on July 14. If it works effectively, then that railway crossing will be closed permanently.

Kebon Singkong crossing also connects Jl. I Gustin Ngurah Rai with Jl. Raya Bekasi. In the closing period, vehicles from Jl. I Gusti Ngurah Rai should go through Klender Flyover to go to Jl. Raya Bekasi. While for vehicles from Jl. Raya Bekasi should take a turn at Cipinang Lontar railway crossing to go to I Gusti Ngurah Rai.
