Fatahillah Museum Visitors Continue to Increase

The Fatahillah Museum on Jalan Taman Fatahillah, Pinangsia Urban Village, Taman Sari, West Jakarta keeps showing significant progress.

This year, in January until June, the number of visitors has reached 344,248 people

Jakarta History Museum Staff, Khasirun detailed, in 2015, the number of museum visitors was 535,144 people and 726,885 tourists in 2016.

"This year, in January until June, the number of visitors has reached 344,248 people," he stated, Friday (7/14).

Fatahillah Museum Still Becomes a Favorite Recreational Site

He disclosed, entrance ticket price of the museum is very affordable, with details Rp 5,000 for adult, Rp 3,000 for collage student and Rp 2,000 for school student.

"Being a tourist destination worth education with cheap ticket prices make Jakarta History Museum is crowded visited," he explained.

Khasirun added, one of the rooms that become a favorite of visitors is a five-door prison room located in the area of the park behind the museum.

"Usually the visitor wants to directly see the form and size of the prison room. Tourists also often take photos there," he said.
