Semanggi Interchange soft launching and open traffic will be done simultaneously on July 29, 2017.

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. Head, Yusmada Faizal said, open traffic is conducted to evaluate traffic flow in the area since there will be a change in road users behavior.

"Open traffic means to be used for public. Thus we will evaluate it at the same time," he said, Tuesday (7/18).

According to him, his side will evaluate its lack that needs to be repaired. Thus on its inauguration day, on August 17, 2017, traffic flow around Semanggi Interchange has gone better.

"Thus, everything is ready on inauguration day," he said.

He is optimistic, open traffic can be done as schedule. Traffic lamps and signs installation are on progress. Currently, Semanggi Interchange has entered the last phase and reaches 95 percent from total work.

"Semanggi Interchange preparation, includes traffic lamps and signs, has reached 95-96 percent," he added.

He also added, park which got impact from construction is on repair progress. Several points are waiting to be repaired since it is still used for office.

"Park condition has been restored. Grass has been planted. Meanwhile , open traffic is targeted on July 29," he closed.
