City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed his party is still focusing on financing for MRT physical project. However, ticket subsidy financing will remain the focus of discussion.

City Prepares SCBD and MRT Integration Plan

"Hopefully, it could be discussed by the end of this year," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (7/20).

His party will firstly calculate the amount needed to subsidize the MRT ticket. It is also adjusted to the regional capability not to burden the City Budget (APBD) in the future.

"Talk about ticket, it needs to be discussed. We'll check and calculate it first," he finished.

Saefullah also admitted, he cannot confirm whether the MRT ticket subsidy scheme is the same as applied in Transjakarta or not. The subsidy will also have to get approval from Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD).
