Fire Handling Education Given to HBKB Visitors on Jl. Pemuda

People who visit Car Free Day (HBKB) on Jl. Pemuda, Rawamangun, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, got fire handling education, Sunday (7/23). They were given a chance to take a photo with fire extinguisher equipment.

East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. Head, Darwin Ali said, there were quite a lot of people visited Gulkarmat Sub-dept. booth. Around 275 people in average have visited their booth in each events.

"We are routinely give education and socialization about fire handling in every HBKB. Citizen's enthusiasm is quite high," he said, Sunday (7/23).

Not only educating, his side also played an animation film about fire and its handling for HBKB visitors. They introduced fire handling and rescue equipment which is putted in front of their booth.

Leaflet that inform about fire handling and children books about disaster were given for visitors. Visitors were also given a chance to take a photo by wore fire fighter's clothes.

"This is done as our plan to approach citizen. Thus together with citizen, fire prevention could be done," he closed.
