South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. distributing 260 small fire extinguisher (APAR) to citizen. This is done as the follow up form citizen's proposal in last year's Musrenbang.
APAR tubes will be distributed for each family who doesn't have it.
"APAR tubes will be distributed for each family who doesn't have it. We focused on densely populated settlements," said Irwan, Head of South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., Monday (5/8).
According to him, currently APAR is still in auction progress through e-Katalog. It is estimated will be done in June.

"In 2016, we are not proposed it in Musrenbang, in 2017 we just proposed it as many as 260 APAR tubes and next year will be proposed for 672 tubes," he said.
He hopes, for citizen who receive APAR can take care it well. Thus it can be used as early fire handling tool if fire really happens in the area.
"It's treatment is relatively easy. Such as routinely check its seal, move the tube back and forth in order to prevent its liquid to freeze. And also avoid APAR form direct sun and clean the tube," he closed.
