Commission B Appreciates Budget Absorption of Transportation Dept.

City Council Commission B appreciates the budget absorption of Jakarta Transportation Dept. on 2016 City Budget (APBD). They dept. managed to absorb 82.09 percent of total budget worth Rp 1.21 trillion.

I think it is already above average, which is 82 percent

Jakarta City Council Commission B Member, Syarifuddin said it is good enough and hoped able to be maintained in subsequent years.

SKPD Urged to Increase Budget Absorption

"I think it is already above average, which is 82 percent," he expressed, during draft bylaw evaluation meeting on Accountability for 2016 APBD Implementation at City Council building, Tuesday (7/25).

Nevertheless, he stated, there are still some records that need to be fixed soon, especially budget absorption in every Transportation Sub-dept. "It must be improved again," he expressed.

Similar statement also comes from another member, Judistira. He wants budget absorption in sub-dept. to be monitored, especially in term of activity planning. "This is because unfavorable planning has an impact to absorption," he expressed.

At the same place, Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Andri Yansyah explained several activities were not realized last year. Yet his party remains try to optimize the absorption of the budget.

"We also managed to do land acquisition for MRT which is our duty. There is also efficiency that is done," he closed.
