Traffic Jam in Semanggi Area Reduces 20 Percent

The operation of Semanggi Interchanges on Monday (7/31), was able to reduce traffic jam to 20 percent.

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah said, his side deployed 30 personnel to control and monitor traffic flow in that location.

Today, Open Traffic at Semanggi Interchange Applied

He admitted, open and close system has been applied to Semanggi Interchanges. But from Monday onward, the operational will be operated.

 

Meanwhile, Bina Marga Head, Yusmada Faizal mentioned, Semanggi Interchanges is still needed some final completion such as lighting program application and park restoration. Thus after it was opened for traffic trial on last Friday (7/28), it needs to be closed for several times.

"For traffic signs, maybe today we will install motorcycle prohibited sign," he closed.
