A number of personnel have 66 two- and four-wheeled vehicles parked on the sidewalk of Jalan I Gusti Ngurai Rai, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta on the first day of Months of Orderly Sidewalk.

"We hope there will be no more vehicles or street vendors occupy the sidewalk in the future," expressed Slamet Dahlan, Section Head of Supervision and Control for East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Tuesday (8/1).

Of 66 vehicles, 30 motorcycles are ticketed, 4 private cars are towed, 5 public transport vehicles' operation are stopped and 7 other vehicles are ticketed.

"Patrol will be done routinely to give a sense of comfort for the passerby," he closed.
