Council Optimizes Inventory of Recess Results

It's because we have experience in the next recess dealing again with the same citizens with similar case

Jakarta DPRD's Recess Special Committee (Pansus) began to optimize the results of the recess in 106 leaders and members of the council by changing the method of recording.

Sereida Tambunan, Vice Chairman Jakarta DPRD's Recess Pansus said, recess results recording should be done, considering the leaders and council members often lose track, whether the aspirations of citizens have not been accommodated and acted upon Regional Working Unit (SKPD).

"It's because we have experience in the next recess dealing again with the same citizens with similar case," he expressed, at City Council Building, Wednesday (8/2).

According to him, the case like this is often repeated in the Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang). Therefore, recess recording is done by separating citizen's aspiration ranging from problems per plot, municipality and party faction.

"We really hope the problems that have been the result of the recess could be solved one by one," he said.

Until now, he added, there are still about 20 council members who have not yet reported the results of the second recess in 2017. It is targeted more than thousand people's aspirations can be collected in the council recess on Friday (8/4).

"We hope it would finish its compilation next week and then submitted to SKPD," he hoped.
