586,000 students of elementary school in West Jakarta are getting Maesles Rubella immunization. It will be conducted from August until September 2017.

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi disclosed, immunization is one of the national programs to improve public health.

"This is very important and useful. All people, especially children must be immunized, ranging from infants aged 9 months to 15 years old," he expressed, during launching of Maesles Rubbella immunization in SMPN 206, Meruya Utara, Kembangan, Wednesday (8/2).

West Jakarta Health Sub-dept. Head, Weningtyas Purnomo added it will be held throughout the school, starting from elementary school, junior high school and Madrasah Tsanawiyah junior high school.

"We'll also do the same thing at posyandu, puskesmas, etc," he closed.
