The North Jakarta Cooperative Small Micro Medium Enterprises and Trade (KUMKMP) Sub-Department recorded that 70 percent out of 113,000 traders and entrepreneurs do not have a business legality, such as trading license (SIUP) and company registration (TDP). While the rest 30 percent already have it.
This is because many of those are difficult to set aside time to process the license. Therefore, the KUMKMP Sub-Department keeps intensively holding free service for TDP and SIUP or one-day service in malls and traditional markets.

"Today, we prepare the SIUP for 120 traders at Rawa Badak Utara Market. In future, we would hold the same service in Emporium Mall," he expressed, Monday (6/16).
According to him, the service will reduce the existence of entrepreneurs who do not have legal business. Later on, he plans to routinely hold the service in some modern and traditional markets.
"We're still inventorying the locations. But, we will try to hold the service massively thus all traders in North Jakarta will have the SIUP," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Head of Rawa Badak Utara Market, Eko Purwanto disclosed 30 percent out of 672 traders already have the SIUP. He thank for help from Jakarta Provincial Government which held the service in his market, considering it facilitates traders to get trading license.
"All this time, traders cannot process the SIUP due to they are busy. While the management unit cannot serve them on day off," he stated.
