N. Jakarta BPRD Managed to Collect Rp 33.5 M During Motor Vehicle Raid

North Jakarta Tax and Local Retribution Sub-dept. managed to absorb motor vehicle tax by Rp 33.5 million from the raid last Friday (8/11). As planned, similar raid will be conducted in the next two weeks.

Robert L Tobing, Head of PKB and BBNKB Unit said the vehicle raid is pretty effective to target taxpayers of motor vehicles. But it is still unoptimal yet. It is because the rider netted is not the owner of the vehicle during the raid.

"Yesterday we managed to collect tax from vehicle owner by Rp 33.5 million. This is pretty effective and must be tightened again in future," he stated, Saturday (8/12).

Vehicle Tax Deliquents Raid Held Today

He mentions, the amount of tax that has been paid during the raid is Rp 33,543,000. In details, payment system at the spot is about Rp 10,294,000; at Samsat is about Rp 23,249,000; and statement making for paying tax is Rp 84,177,183.

During the raid in Ancol yesterday, the number of vehicle checked is about 129 units. They consist of 76 motorcycles and 53 cars.

Then those who make statement letter to pay tax were 11 motorcycles and 12 cars. As for those who pay at the spot were one motorcycle and two cars.
