Tax Revenue Realization in S. Jakarta Reaches Rp 2.6 Trillion

During January to July 2017 periods, tax revenue realization in South Jakarta has reached Rp 2.6 trillion. While this year's target is Rp 6.7 trillion.

Until August 9, PBB-P2 revenue realization is around Rp 931 billion or has reached 37 percent from total target of Rp 2.5 trillion

South Jakarta Taxation and Local Retribution Sub-Agency (BPRD) Head, Yuspin Dramatin said, the highest tax target is on Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) as many as Rp 2.5 trillion.  

"Until August 9, PBB-P2 revenue realization is around Rp 931 billion or has reached 37 percent from total target of Rp 2.5 trillion," she said, Wednesday (8/9).

City Facilitates PBB-P2 Payment

She explained, PBB-P2 revenue realization in South Jakarta in 2016 reached Rp 2.29 trillion. It exceeded the target of Rp 2.28 trillion in that year.

"Hopefully it could exceed the target this year too," she expressed.

This year's PBB-P2 payment will be due on August 31. Thus if tax payers have not paid their tax until the specified time limit, she continued, they will be fined by 2 percent each month starting the following month.

She explained, there are 9 tax types targeted to be fulfilled in 2017. First, Hotel Tax is targeted Rp 470 billion and it has been realized for Rp 241 billion. Restaurant Tax is targeted Rp 1.009 trillion and it has been realized for Rp Rp 550 billion.

Then, Entertainment Tax is targeted Rp 164 billion and it has been realized for Rp 94 million. Parking Tax's target is Rp 233 billion and it has been realized for Rp 111 billion. Billboard Tax's target is Rp 239 billion and it has been realized for Rp 163 trillion. Groundwater Tax's target is Rp 42 billion and it has been realized for Rp 21 billion.

And then, Fuel Tax has been realized for Rp 73 billion from target Rp 119 billion. Tax on Acquisition of Land and Building Rights has been realized Rp 633 billion from target Rp 2.003 trillion.
